Dr Pedro Melo is a Senior Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health, University of Oxford, and a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals and TFP Oxford Fertility. He provides tertiary-level care to people dealing with infertility, early pregnancy problems, recurrent miscarriage and endometriosis.
Pedro is committed to delivering evidence-based and compassionate care to women and couples seeking fertility assessment and treatment. Alongside his clinical work, he is an active clinical researcher with a strong interest in optimising assisted reproduction outcomes and early pregnancy health. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and received multiple awards, including the British Fertility Society Young Clinician Prize in 2022, and the RCOG William Blair Bell Fellowship in 2023.
