The Dexeus Mujer International Award is given to the person, persons, work team or institution whose professional career or ongoing research represents a significant contribution to the field of Health Sciences, especially in relation to women and particularly in the field of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine.
Nominations must demonstrate that the candidate is a role model and highlight the significance of their work.

Ms Louise Brown, on 16 February 2017, the first person in the world to be conceived through in vitro fertilisation (1978), for her contribution to spreading and normalising assisted reproduction techniques, and Ms Victoria Anna Perea, the first in Spain (1984), whose birth gave the definitive boost to assisted reproduction medicine in our country.
