Women'secret Collection
A collaborative project between the Dexeus Mujer Foundation and the women's lingerie brand Women'secret. Since its inception, various charitable initiatives have been launched to improve the quality of life of patients diagnosed with cancer.
Things that really matter
One in eight women may develop breast cancer, many of them of childbearing age. In 2013, Dexeus Mujer launched the “Things that really matter” project, together with Women’secret, to help women going through breast cancer to get their lives back. This collaboration gave rise to the new Post-Surgery Bras collection, designed by Women’secret with the advice of expert professionals from the gynaecological oncology and breast cancer department at Dexeus Mujer. This line is specially designed for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, and the profits go to the Dexeus Mujer Foundation’s “Fertility Preservation in Cancer Patients” programme.
What it consists of
It is a product that adapts to the needs of these women, but follows a modern design similar to that of other products of this type. It can be purchased in some shops and online at an affordable price comparable to that of any other bra from the brand.
A bra tailored to your needs
Prosthesis bra
The collection consists of two bra styles, in microfibre and cotton with lace details, in different colours and with matching knickers. Each of these garments has been designed with the patient’s needs and comfort in mind.

Post-surgical bra
The most important new product is the cotton post-surgical bra. It has been specially designed for the first few days after surgery, ensuring the patient’s comfort and convenience. It is a front-fastening bra with a very comfortable hook-and-eye closure that fastens in the centre of the chest, helping patients with reduced arm mobility.

Going one step further
With a breast cancer cure rate of 90% at Dexeus Mujer, we wanted to go one step further and, in addition to taking care of our patients’ health and recovery, also help them regain their habits and their lives after the disease. That is why, in collaboration with Women’secret, we created this collection, which aims to support women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, taking care of their needs not only from a medical point of view, but also from a more personal perspective.
Details that matter
The collection consists of different modern and contemporary styles, designed by Women’secret with the advice of a team of orthopaedists and gynaecologists from our centre’s oncology department, as well as the collaboration of some of our patients who have contributed their suggestions based on their experience.
Wider straps, interior openings for easy insertion of prostheses, soft fabrics on the inside and the absence of underwiring and rigid pieces are some of the features of this collection, which aims to improve the quality of life of women who have undergone breast cancer surgery.
